Lohr’s Orchard - Churchville, MD

Apple picking generally starts in mid August and runs until mid October. Apple cider is available mid-September in the market. Pumpkins are available for picking starting the last weekend of September. Weekend hayrides to the pumpkin patch and orchard are also available. Founded in 1928 by Andrew and Harry Lohr, it moved to its present location in 1974. It is run by Andrew Lohr, Jr and his family. It is a little over an hour northeast of Gaithersburg in Churchville in Harford County, MD. The address for the orchard is 3212 Snake Lane, Churchville MD, 21028.
