13 Stories Haunted House - Newman, GA
Your deepest fears await starting around September 9th, 2022.  The basic haunt here is 13 Stories but there are so many attractions and things to do and see.  Ward B is another extremely scary haunted house with 13 Stories. There are four attractions including the zombie paintball hunt. 13 Stories have a combined ticket price or buy an individual haunt. Here you can wear your costume but no face mask. They have fog, strobe lights, gory creatures, loud sounds, and loud music. Expect to find rats, spiders, snakes, roaches, and maybe a 3D clown. The attractions are 13 Stories, Vertigo, Ward B, Zombie Alley, and Clown Town. Ask about a separate attraction called Sacrifice Extreme Haunt.  Check their schedule so you see the specific haunt on the day you want.  Generally open Friday and Saturday nights in September and Friday through Sunday nights in October. 13 Stores has over 43000 Facebook likes.  Note they run a very competitive laser tag facility throughout the year so check with them anytime.  They have taken a number of safety measure to reduce virus exposure such as online queues for wait times and small groups go through together to allow for social distancing.  Lots of hand sanitizer around also plus other safety measures.

Camp Blood - Carrollton, GA
Camp Blood returns in late September.  It has been scary for more than 30 years. There are more than a few chainsaw carrying psychos running around Carrollton, Georgia. Your ticket gets you into Mental-brook Estates and Camp Blood. Additional combo attractions available. Doors open at 9 pm every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in October plus a couple special events. Check web page for details.

Containment Haunted House - Lithia Springs, GA

Attractions run Friday and Saturday nights starting the middle of September with added dates and Sunday nights in October. Check web page for more nights Halloween week.  Containment is filled with live actors, cutting edge special effects, animatronics, and interactive monster puppets designed to put you in the middle of a horror movie.  We have created scenes of classic horror that embrace the spirit of Halloween along with scenes of more modern torture and terror.  From a ghostly forest to a gruesome dentist, Containment is one of the last true old school haunted houses that hit every genre of horror. We specialize in your fear! Deep within the bowels of Containment lay its darkest secrets. It has been rumored that something truly evil lies within. Escape Woods at The Sleepy Hollow Farm - Powder Springs, GA
Escape Woods is the ultimate escape experience perfect for team building events, date nights, and adventures with friends.  Our escape game adventures are unlike any others in the world. Our games are fully immersive and allow you to feel like your are living out the plot of a movie. We offer fun adventure games (non-scary) perfect for adults and older kids as well as scarier escape games for adults.  Part of the hit Netflix show “Stranger Things” was filmed at Escape Woods. The outdoor escape room runs Thursday through Sunday by appointment in September and October. There are dates available every month of the year.

Fear the Woods - Stockbridge, GA
Haunt returns in late September.  Fear in the Woods has a Haunted Hayride, Haunted Barn, Haunted Trail, Zombie Paintball Hayride, Reptile Exhibit, and Pumpkin cannon. Tickets priced for one attraction or for combo.  Open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night after 7 pm in October plus Halloween night.

Fearopolis - Commerce, GA
Fearopolis returns in late September through October.  Attraction is located at the Funopolis Family Fun Center, but on Friday and Saturday night fun in October, it becomes Fearopolis! Non-haunt runs 11 am to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday. The scary haunt time is 7 pm to 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Have fun with Zombie Paintball Hayride, Haunted House, and an Axe Throw Challenge.

Folklore Haunted House - Acworth, GA
Open weekend nights starting in late September.  Attraction runs most Friday through Sunday nights in October plus some other dates.  See web page for details.  The theme of Folklore is that evil has many forms. Demons, tortured souls, vampires come from legends and fables. Tickets are $25-30 depending on the night.

Gates of Misery - Rome, GA
Sorry folks but Gates of Misery is changing location and appears it will not open in 2022.

Haunted Hollow - Valley, AL
Haunted Hollow features three haunts named The Village of the Dead, Finn’s, and Spinal Tap. Attraction opens for the season in late September and runs every Friday and Saturday nights throughout October.  Tickets are combo priced for all three attractions.

Hell’s Gates - Dawsonville, GA
Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from October 21st through early November.  More than a haunted house! This is an outdoor reality drama. You are not just watching, but you are actually immersed in the whole experience.

Mercenary Mayhem’s Man VS Monster - Atlanta, GA
New daytime Halloween attraction in Atlanta. A riddle war between man and monster to retrieve the most cash and come out victorious! Held at Emma Millican Park. Open every weekend in October with 1pm and 3pm timeslots. Takes an hour. Ages 14+

Netherworld Haunted House - Stone Mountain, GA
Returning to Stone Mountain this fall.  Opening is in late September.  Netherworld near Atlanta just might be the best haunted house in Georgia if not the country. Each year it seems to just get better with new scenes, sets, and screams. This years theme is The Season Of The Witch in the main haunt attraction followed by the basement show. It takes about one hour to go through Netherworld not counting for the long wait lines. Netherworld Haunted House is open from 7 pm to 11 pm. It runs Monday through Thursdays are from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Friday and Saturday nights the attraction runs 7 pm to midnight. Tickets are vary based on the attraction, combos, and night of the week.  So basically this attraction is open every night in October plus some November dates.  Be aware of the horrific plot to punish all of mankind that went awry. Try to survive the giant bugs, wasps, spiders, and maggots. These places are beyond scary.  This clearly is one of the best and most popular haunt attractions in the country.  Netherworld has over 149000 Facebook likes.

Nightmares Gate - Douglasville, GA
Experience Georgia’s own haunted hospital.  The patients have escaped.  Tickets available for Nightmares Gate. Doors open at 8 pm.  Open Friday through Sunday nights in October beginning in late September.  They have added a second location next door to 3931 Longview Drive, Douglasville, GA 30135.

Paranoia Haunted House - Canton, GA
Paranoia returns to Canton, Georgia in late September.  The two attractions are Extraction and Wretched. Gates open at 7:30 pm and close 12 am.  Open on Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday nights beginning September 30th.  Admission is $25 for single attraction. Get the combo ticket for $35 to get into both attractions.  Open a variety of additional nights in October some at discounted prices.

Six Flags FrightFest - Austell, GA
Opens for Halloween season beginning around the middle of September.  FrightFest is one of the largest haunted attractions in the country. They convert Six Flags into a full Halloween haunt with lots of scare attractions and entertainment. Entertainment includes Southern Cemetery Conjuring, Salem Witch Trials, Bayou Bloodlush, Gotham City, Cemetery of the Undead, Asylum, The Last Ride and many more new attractions. Also many of Six Flags great rides have been re-themed and operating during Fright Fest. Save money and buy your tickets online.  Open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night in October plus select other dates.

Terror Mills - Jackson, GA
Terror Mills opens September 29th and runs every Thursday through Saturday nights in October.  An old early 1900’s chicken farm that has been ran by the Bugtussel family. So if you dare come and visit!  We look forward to turning your worst nightmares into reality! Tickets are $20 each.

The Ungrounded Thriller Escape - Atlanta, GA
New Atlanta Halloween attraction also part of Mercenary Mayhem. A thrilling outdoor escape adventure. 25 minutes to survive darkness!
