Brecknock Orchard - Mohnton, PA
A 65 acre fruit and vegetable farm located northeast of the intersection of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and U.S. Route 222 in Lancaster County.It is family owned and operated by the Martin Family, started by Earl Martin in 1994 and taken over by Daryl and his wife Andrea in 1996.Pick your own apples from mid-September through early November.In total, they grow more than 40 apple varieties.Pumpkin picking available starting in mid-September.The Farm Market offers homemade jams, jellies and fruit butters. Fall festivals on Saturdays and Columbus Day starting in late September.The festival includes caramel apples, soap making demonstrations, applesauce demonstrations, children’s crafts, straw maze, hayride farm tours, swing set, pumpkin toss and other games.They are closed on Sundays.

Cherry Hill Orchards - Lancaster, PA
More than 25 varieties of apples for picking when ripe from August until November.In total, they grow more than 40 varieties of apples.They also have PYO pumpkins in the fall.Cherry Hill is owned by the Haas Family, who have operated it since 1971.

County Line Orchard - Kempton, PA
Nine varieties of apples ripen in September and October for PYO.September offerings include Gala, Honeycrisp and Jonathan.Pick Rome, Ida Red, Suncrisp and more in October.They grow in total approximately 25 varieties of apples and have several acres of certified organic apples.About the farm: A stone mill was constructed on the property in the 19th Century.The land was farmed for much of the 20th Century by the Lenhart family.The first apple trees were planted in 1982.The current owner, Todd Smith, purchased the orchard in 1987.They are open Friday through Sunday from their summer opening through the end of the harvest.They are located on the Berks/Lehigh County line.

Highland Orchards - West Chester, PA
A 200 acre West Chester farm with a fall festival featuring apple and pumpkin picking daily plus weekend activities. They are located at 1000 Marshalton Thorndale Rd., West Chester, PA 19380. They are 43 miles west of Philadelphia. More than 20 varieties of apples available for picking during autumn.Pre-pay bags available for 1/2 peck and 1/2 bushel with volume discounts for purchasing more than one.Ten percent discount on the price during weekdays.They also have weekend hayrides, kid’s hay maze and scarecrow building.Apple cider donuts and fresh baked piesavailable daily from the farm market and bakery.

Linvilla Orchards - Media, PA
Pumpkinland is their annual fall event and it begins this year in early September.  They have both pick your own and farm store fruits and vegetables. They have pumpkins of all shapes and sizes but you can not pick them from the field. Concession stands, a garden center store, ice cream shop, bakery, and plenty of farm fun. Little kids enjoy the The Barnyard and Playland Playground areas. Take a train ride, enjoy mini golf, take a pony ride, explore The Planet museum. Their big event is Pumpkinland which runs from the second weekend in September through early November. It is full of pumpkins, apple picking, decorations, toys, corn mazes, and hayrides. This is a popular fall activity for Philly residents due to its proximity to Center City.

Shady Brook Farm - Yardley, PA
U-pick pumpkins and enjoy a wagon ride at PumpkinFest held at Shady Brook Farm. Corn maze, apple picking, giant jumping pillows, straw maze, pig races (weekends) and more! At night on the weekends, the farm becomes haunted with HorrorFest, offering four attractions including a haunted hayride and haunted barn. This is one of our favorite attractions because they have so many fall things to do. Lots of daytime activities both for kids and adults. Attraction opens weekends the middle of September and daily from early October through Halloween. The address is 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA 19067. It is 29 miles northeast of downtown Philadelphia.

Solebury Orchards - New Hope, PA
A central Bucks County farm started in 1985 by Brian Smith.Originally started on 24 acres, they now have nearly 70 acres.Apple picking is by the pound with no additional charges.Open rain or shine because trees are located in fields of grass so it is never muddy.They have approximately twenty varieties of apples available for picking including honey crisp, golden delicious and fuji.They also have a cider press if you like apple cider.

Solly Farm - Ivyland, PA
The fall event starts in late September with apple picking and pumpkin picking.  A pick your own farm with a bakery, greenhouse, hayrides and fall events. The address is 707 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA. It is 28 miles north of downtown Philadelphia.

Styer Orchard - Langhorne, PA
An independent pick your own family farm operated by the Field family.Apples are available from august until early November.Apple cider also available.They have a three acre corn maze, hayrides, and pumpkin picking.On Fridays and Saturdays in the evening, they do moonlight hayrides, flashlight pumpkin picking and an after dark maze.

Weaver’s Orchard - Morgantown, PA
A 100 acre farm in Berks County 15 minutes south of Reading.They have approximately 25 varieties of apples available for picking in the fall, including red delicious, macintosh, and fuji apples.Picking is priced by the bag with a 1 peck bag on Saturday for $18 and a 1/2 bushel bag for $26.There is a $2 discount per bag Monday through Friday.Other autumn pick your own crops include pumpkins, kiwiberries and red raspberries. Hayrides also available.On September 14th, they will have a 5K Mud Run.The farm market offers fresh roasted coffee beans from Twin Valley Coffee, ice cream from Nelson’s Dutch Farms, fresh-pressed apple cider and homemade fudge.They are closed on Sunday.
