Amazon Launches Early Black Friday Deals in 2021!

Amazon jumped ahead almost two months today to announce its first early Black Friday deals of the year. Amazon announced deep discounts across every category as it kicked off the start of the holiday shopping season with “Black Friday-worthy deals”.

The deals coincided with the kickoff of a sale on beauty products called Holiday Beauty Haul. Holiday Beauty Haul this year runs between October 4th and October 25th.

Some of the electronics deals that were announced today were sales on the Kindle Paperwhite (10th Gen, 32 GB), Fire HD 10 (32 GB) + Luna Controller Gaming Bundle, an Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen, Kids Edition), and the Fire TV Stick (3rd Generation) with Alexa Voice Remote. Other deals we saw highlighted were a $10 promotional credit with the purchase of a $50 gift card for first time gift card purchasers, seasonal fashion savings of 30-50%, and select holiday toys from the Holiday toy list on sale from 15 to 50% off.

We even found a few things for ourselves while we were looking, since they were offering up to 30% off of select board games and there have been a handful that we have been waiting to pull the trigger on for some time. So we did!

Amazon also said that new deals will be added daily and the discounts will be across all categories. In October and November on select days, Amazon is also going to be showcasing sales on certain brands with limited-time offers of deeper deals. Brands that may participate on such flash sales are Apple, KitchenAid, Hasbro, Sony, Bose and Shark.

Amazon was not the only retailer to announce early holiday deals.

Target is planning to start its “Deal Days” on Sunday, October 10th with three days of savings on thousands of sale items. The savings will be available at Target.com, on the Target app, and in its stores. There is no membership fee in order to participate – the sale is open to everyone. Target promises incredible deals on products like Beats, fleece, kitchen gifts and more.

Target is also starting a Holiday Price Match Guarantee running from October 10th until December 24th. The price match guarantee allows shoppers to request a price adjustment on all items purchased at Target (subject to a few exceptions) if they lower the price later in the season; or select competitors beat the price within 14 days of purchase.
