Bloomington Haunted Houses for Halloween 2022

The Midwest has lots are scary entertainment with haunted houses featuring animatronics, air blasters, Hollywood type design sets, live actors, and scent dispensers. We list haunts with ghosts, zombies, creatures, with Jason’s and Freddy’s making for Halloween scary fun – find a haunted house near me below!

Downs Haunted House - Downs, IL
Runs Friday and Saturday nights starting in early October.  A special UnHaunted event for kids on the last Sunday of the month (we have information on that at here.) A “FrightFest” of activities including the haunted house, haunted hay rack ride, bonfires, entertainment while in line (past entertainment has included stilt walkers and fire blowing clowns), concessions and more. Since 1992, when three local families wanted to start a safe and fun activities for their families, this event has grown while serving as a fundraiser for safety equipment for volunteer firemen, then funding community activities. Tickets are $12.

Pekin Haunt - Pekin, IL
This event is located at the Pekin Paintball Park. Combo tickets to the haunted corn maze are $20. Hunt the zombies from the battle wagon. If you like haunted houses, getting scared, corn mazes or shooting things THEN YOU WILL LOVE THIS! We bring you, Central Illinois, something you have NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!! A real life Zombie shoot!!! RIDE ON OUR 2 STORY BATTLEWAGON through the Undead and Zombie infested territory (these will be real-live Zombies not just fake targets).

Spook Hollow & M.C. Manor - Marquette Heights, IL
Spook Hollow returns for scares in early October.  Open Friday and Saturday nights the last three weekends before Halloween.  Back again with a scary attraction for over 40 years in Central Illinois. Admission tickets are $25.  Spook Hollow™, the one that started it all will lead you deep into the woods of Independence Park. M.C. Manor, a spine tingling haunted mansion with movie quality rooms, provide the scare factor you crave. If that isn’t enough, M.C. Nightmare will lead you through a twisted and run down industrial haunt destine to claim as another lost soul deep within it’s rusty walls. The three haunts combine to bring you a “Trilogy of Terror” for one admission price.

Terror on Washington Street - Clinton, IL
Terror on Washington Street returns around the middle of October.  Open every Friday and Saturday nights in October.  An annual attraction put on by the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.  General Admission is $10.  They also run a non-scary event Friendly Ghost Tour late afternoon on Saturdays.
