Best Buy is also scheduling in-store consultations online, by phone, chat or at the front of the store if you wish to get advice from a store team member. During Black Friday last year, we packed up the family (after the turkey was finished and the leftovers were safely stored in the refrigerator) and headed over to our local electronics store in order to see what could be seen. We ended up arriving there about 9 or 10 PM and upgraded our cell phones thanks to the huge deals that they had on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9. We ended up getting a lower price than we could have received through our phone carrier (Sprint), and they ported everything from our old phones over to them. We walked away around midnight happy campers with three new phones and almost picked up a cheap doorbuster tv.

Best Buy Doorbusters:
 
The front page of the Best Buy black friday ad last year contained three televisions, three laptops (two of which were Chromebooks), a tablet (the Apple iPad mini) and the latest Samsung phones. We expect a similar mix again this year. The in-store deals started on Thanksgiving Day at 5 PM with additional doorbusters and deals released on Friday and Saturday. Best Buy also had hundreds of Black Friday offers available as soon as the ad was released as part of its early November sales.
 
Best Buy TV Deals:
 
We expect the biggest black friday television deals will be on the Samsung QLED 4K tvs with discounts on some 65 inch and 75 inch options in the Q70 series and the Q80 series between $700 and $1200 off. Best Buy has also been running savings on Sony and LG 4K TVs, as well as Amazon Fire TVs.
 
Best Buy iPad Deals:
 
Last year Best Buy offered $150 off of the Apple iPad mini 4 with WiFi and 128 GB, for a total price of $249.99 over Thanksgiving. We do not yet know what they will be putting on sale in November 2019 but we do know that Amazon has been offering $50 off every iPad Air including both WiFi and cellular configurations in August. This includes the 10.5 inch retina display, 8MP and 7MP cameras, plus support for the Apple Pencil. So that could be the killer tablet deal this fall if Best Buy matches it.
 
Best Buy Apple Watch Deals:
 
Apple has been running sales of $50 off across their lineup of Apple Watch Series 4 in summer 2019, with options like GPS + Cellular in a variety of band sizes and colors. Final prices are ranging from $449 – $479 and as high as $699 for the Space Black version. If you are looking for an Apple Watch 4 during Black Friday or Cyber Monday, be sure to check here.
 
Best Buy iPhone Deals:
 
Best Buy had the best Black Friday deal on the Samsung Galaxy Note9, S9 and S9+ last year with qualified activation, but fell $200 short on the iPhone X compared to what was offered by Walmart (an incredible $400 gift card). We expect they will step up their game this Thanksgiving with an even bigger deal on the new iPhone 11, which the media anticipates will be announced in September.

We expect to see Black Friday 2019 deals on the Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3″ 4K Ultra HD touch screen laptop, the 15.6″ HP Envy laptop with either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. Other likely deals include the Lenovo Yoga C930, Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, an HP 14″ Chromebook, Microsoft Surface Pro, Microsoft Surface Book 2, and the Google Pixelbook. Gaming laptops that may go on sale include the Dell G3, various ASUS gaming laptops, and the Acer Nitro.

In recent years, some of Best Buy’s best deals on the Monday after Thanksgiving involved Microsoft touch screen Surface Book 2 in 1 laptops ($250-400 off), Apple Macbook and Macbook Airs ($200 off) and a few other laptops with discounts of $100 to $200.

Hours (2018)
Best Buy has already started offering deal on all sorts of items, but the deals get a little better once Black Friday begins!

You can head to Best Buy on Thanksgiving Day this year, since it opens at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day – 1 a.m. Friday and reopens 8 a.m. Friday (check local store hours for MA/ME/RI). There will be in-store doorbusters during store hours (grab a ticket when you arrive!)

If you prefer to do your shopping from the comfort of wherever your computer is, you can start snapping up Black Friday deals at 2 a.m. on Nov. 22rd. Online doorbusters will be available, and free shipping is available on almost everything!

In October 2019, Best Buy announced its Magnolia Anniversary sale with an end date of October 20th. As part of the sale, Best Buy guaranteed to My Best Buy members that they would get the Black Friday price on on the select premium TVs and home theater products which were a part of the sale. In other words – if the price went lower on any of the qualified items between the sale and Black Friday, Best Buy would refund the difference.

Past Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals (2015-2017)

The Black Friday sale at Best Buy actually started at 5 PM on Thanksgiving and ran until 1 AM before doors re-opened on Friday morning at 8 AM. Among the in-store only deals in 2015 was a 49” Toshiba LED 1080p Black HDTV for just $149.99 (save $280). Additional doorbusters were revealed on Thursday online only, in limited quantities.

Best Buy Cyber Monday savings started the Sunday after Thanksgiving with two days of deals and then continued the rest of the week with additional savings from the store’s 24 page sale flyer.
