Gamestop Black Friday Ad 2020

GameStop had the top video game console deal available on Thanksgiving Day last year thanks to its gift card offer and we expect that they will be in the mix again for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday this year as they seek to drive traffic into their stores or onto their website. With share prices falling this year, the GameStop management is no doubt going to be looking to move merchandise, from new products like the Nintendo Switch Lite to pre-owned and refurbished systems, to pre-owned games for the Xbox One and PS4. With the new consoles coming out next year, this could be an insane year for sales.

Nintendo Switch Black Friday 2018 Deals
In addition to the $50 gift card, the Switch Mario Kart 8 bundle was priced at just $299. Non-console accessories additions related to Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Nintendo Switch starter kits. Pre-owned products available during the Black Friday sale were the Nintendo 3DS XL and and the Nintendo Wii U.
 
PS4 Black Friday Deals
 
The PS4 Spiderman bundle was on sale for $100 off at a deal price of $199 (originally $299). The Dual Shock 4 controller was discounted to $38.99. There were savings of $100 off all PlayStation VR bundles and each bundle included the PSVR headset. The Creed: Rise to Glory bundle was priced at $249.99 and the Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Moss bundle was priced at $199.99.
 
Xbox One Black Friday Deals
 
Last year, they offered the Xbox One S Minecraft Creators bundle for $199 (savings of $100 off the regular price of $299). Other bundles included the NBA 2K19 bundle for $229.99 and the Xbox One X Robot White Special Edition Fallout 76 bundle for $429.99 (save $70 + get the free $50 Gamestop gift card part of the overall offering). If you are a fan of historic video games, you could also get a pre-owned Xbox 360 for free with mail-in rebate.

There were also a number of doorbusters on games for the Xbox and PS4 priced at between $17 and $27 as well as up to 65% off video game discs for these two systems
 
Computer Gaming Deals:
 
Gamestop also offered discounts on a variety of Cyberpowerpc gaming desktop computers as well as the Razer gaming keyboards and a number of gaming chairs. 
 
Black Friday Deals Start Time
 
In 2018, visitors could start shopping online for the Gamestop Black Friday deals starting on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at 9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central. To take advantage of the in-store deals, the doors opened at 3 PM on Thanksgiving Day.
