Eight Weekends of Fun at Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission
Join us weekends for the 40th anniversary of the Texas Renaissance Festival between October 11th – November 30th, 2014. The festival is located on 55 acres at 21778 FM 1774, Todd Mission, Texas (near Houston). It features 8 weekend themed events from 9am – 8pm. This is the largest renaissance festival in the country.
Returning back is artist Real Musgrave who gave us Pocket Dragons and headlined this event for many years. Featured will be Pocket Dragon sculptures and a trip down memory lane with the animated television show.
New for 2014 is the weekend Kings Masquerade Ball. Imagine a Saturday night costumed from the middle ages at the Kings court. Here you can have hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and music dance entertainment all for $75.
The renaissance festival features entertainment and shows on 17 stages. It has over 10 food stations and restaurants. It has a wide range of craft makers teaching and demonstrating their talents. Some of the talents are candle making, glass blowing, weaponry, woodworking, leatherworks, and musical instruments. The shows typically include jousting, weapons, and dance.
Tickets for the festival are $27 for adults and $13 for children.
