Broom Orchard - Carlinville, IL

This 120+ acre orchard was established in 1920 by Leonard Sooy and bought by William and Joan Broom in 1968. It is still run by the Brown family. Pick your own apples (over 20 varieties) are available beginning the end of July. Sweet cider is available at the end of August. The Farm Market is open July through December and sells fresh produce, local products and sweet apple cider. They hold an Apple Festival at the end of September and a Pumpkin Festival in the middle of October.
