Los Osos Oktoberfest - Los Osos, CA - Oct 27 to Oct 27, 2024
The Annual Oktoberfest and Annual Car Show will again be held on Second Street in Baywood Park. Admission for the event is FREE. Since 1977, the festival has grown from a small group of vendors and musicians, to a popular countywide event that attracts over 6,000 participants. For the entire day, Los Osos/Baywood Park will be bustling with pomp and ceremony and the enthusiasm of thousands of revelers eager to enjoy the day with live music and entertainment, a Beer Garden, food, arts & crafts, pet and people costume contests, activities for kids and more.
Via Arte Italian Street Painting Festival - Bakersfield, CA - Oct 19 to Oct 20, 2024
Bakersfield Museum of Art’s annual Via Arté Italian Street Painting Festival has become a Bakersfield tradition, bringing together the community and the visual arts since 1998. Using the asphalt as canvas, spectators watch each year as professional and student artists unlock their imaginations and turn the parking lot of the Marketplace into a gallery of amazing chalk masterpieces.
