Winterfest and Tree Lighting Ceremony - Cleveland, OH - Nov 30 to Nov 30, 2024
Opening weekend has free, family-friendly festivities begin at 4 p.m., with a lighting ceremony and fireworks starting at 6 p.m. The event will include musical performances and appearances from Santa Claus, live and interactive visual-arts demonstrations, skating, carriage rides, food trucks, fire pits and more. Check out their website for other programming on select Saturdays between December and the beginning of the new year.
Thanksgiving Polka Party Weekend - Independence, OH - Nov 29 to Nov 30, 2024

Corn & Pumpkin Festival - Kirtland, OH - Oct 5 to Oct 6, 2024
Help husk, shell and grind the corn, make handmade cornhusk dolls and paint pumpkins (additional fee). Little farmers can pedal their way on mini tractors through the farm maze on the Pedal Tractor Overlook. They can navigate the hay maze and play in the kid’s areas. Explore the three-acre corn maze, enjoy harvest-themed crafts and other harvest activities including cooking demonstrations. Experience Farmpark with popular activities including cow milking, wagon rides, ice cream making, equine activities, border collie sheep herding demonstrations, plus meet a variety of farm animals. Visitors man also enjoy Showman’s Circle, featuring a farm-themed playground, water feature and live animal demonstrations. Corn & Pumpkin Festival is included with regular Farmpark admission/membership. Children younger than two and Farmpark members get in free.
Woolybear - Vermillion, OH - Sep 29 to Sep 29, 2024
The Woollybear Festival areas consist of entertainment, food booths, craft booths, and merchant sales. Woollybear T-shirts, Woollybear sweatshirts, and Woollybear hats will be available at the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce stand. Various entertainers are at the main stage throughout the day. Parade with commentary by Dick Goddard of Fox 8 (whose idea lead to the creation of this event) occurs at the reviewing stand.

Chatham Apple Butter Festival - Spencer, OH - Oct 12 to Oct 13, 2019
A boiling cauldron of apple butter, continuously stirred by volunteers over an open fire, is still the main feature of the fun-filled event. This year free activities for children and music on both days of the festival will join delicious home-made food, crafts, baked goods and gift baskets. Country store, community organizations and other vendors, and arts and crafts marketplace. There is no admission charge. Free parking is available on both sides of Route 83 — behind the Memorial Hall pavilion and north of the Chatham Community Center.
