New Buffalo Harvest & Wine Festival - New Buffalo, MI - Oct 12 to Oct 12, 2024
One day festival with live music, the best wines, craft beers, hayrides, kid’s art, craft vendors, and lots of food choices. In celebration of the harvest in Southwest Michigan, this one day event boasts over 30 of the best wines from several local vineyards along with four craft beers, and hard ciders all under one roof! Come rain or shine, the event is tented so you can come out and stay all day! $5 donation suggested per adult at the gate, kids under 12 are free! Event will feature live music, tastings and wine/beer by the glass available from local wineries and craft breweries, kids activities, horse drawn hay rides driven throughout New Buffalo, craft vendors offering handcrafted goods, food products, and produce for you to purchase throughout the event.

Formerly Oktoberfest West Michigan, now Oktoberfest GR! The Edelweiss Club hosts this Grand Rapids Oktoberfest featuring Erdinger Beer, German food (and root beer for kids), German Bands and Alphorn players. Saturday children’s activities include a number of different inflatables for them to enjoy. Adult games include two person barrel roll, keg tossing or stein holding. Admission and parking are free.

Lakeshore Harvest Ride - South Haven, MI - Sep 14 to Sep 14, 2024
The ride is a fun and picturesque bike tour over rolling countryside near the shore of Lake Michigan. You can visit art studios, wineries, cider mills, family farms, and orchards to take advantage of all that southwest Michigan has to offer. There are four routes for varying abilities of 15 to 62 miles in length, both taking off from Douglas and South Haven, and all net proceeds go to support the construction of an off-road, recreational pathway between South Haven and Saugatuck.

Holland Haven Marathon - Holland, MI - Sep 8 to Sep 8, 2024
The Holland Haven Marathon is a unique event which traverses the shores of Lake Michigan. Runners will experience the beautiful lake shore as they travel from Grand Haven to Holland. There is also a 8k and half marathon race. The full marathon starts at Rosy Mound Elementary School in Grand Haven. The half marathon starts at Camp Geneva in Holland. The 8K starts at Crossfit Soaring Ledge in Holland. All three events end at Crossfit Soaring Ledge, with an after party featuring free beer, free climbing for the whole family, free food, live music, vendors, an awards ceremony, photo booth, and private showers/changing rooms.
