Choctoberfest: a celebration of bands, beers, bites, and chocolate! Enjoy a fall afternoon full of great live music, local craft beer, delicious food from downtown restaurants, and, of course, chocolate! Choctoberfest offers an array of activities for all ages to enjoy and is free and open to the public, with food and beverages available for purchase.
Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest - Enola, PA - Oct 12 to Oct 13, 2024
Held at Adams-Ricci Park. Car show on Saturday, plus craft vendors, games, inflatables, contests, food and entertainment.
The National Apple Harvest Festival - Biglerville, PA - Oct 5 to Oct 13, 2024
60 years of food, crafts and music on the first two weekends in October. Orchard tours, petting zoo, craftsmen demonstrations, antique cars, crafts, live music and more. Held at the South Mountain Fairgrounds.
Spring Gate Oktoberfest - Harrisburg, PA - Oct 4 to Oct 6, 2024
Hosted by SpringGate Vineyard. Kicks off at noon on Saturday. Enjoy beer, wine, and German-inspired foods available a la carte. No admission fee is charged!

Keystone International Livestock Exposition and Keystone Classic BBQ Contest - Harrisburg, PA - Sep 27 to Oct 6, 2024
10 days of lifestock expo and a BBQ contest (with cash prize) on the second weekend. The Grand Champion of the Barbecue must excel at Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork (Shoulder or Boston Butt), and Brisket to be worthy of the crown – and prizes are available in each individual category as well.

Lancaster Liederkranz Oktoberfest - Manheim, PA - Sep 20 to Sep 22, 2024
Open to the public, and held rain or shine, this celebration of German food, beer, music, and dance is held outside under the Big Tents and the Pavilion. General admission is $6 for adults and $2 for kids ages 6-15. They have a raffle on Sunday. Cash only event, hosted by the Lancaster Liederkranz, a German Singing Society and Cultural Club that was founded in 1880.
