Memphis Comic Expo - Memphis, TN - Oct 26 to Oct 27, 2024
Focuses on creators, especially writers and artists who design comics, and features panels, a cosplay contest, vendors, comic dealers, gaming, and more. Expect a mix of talent from up and coming, local and regional talent, and big names. Opens at 10am each day, with VIP access starting at 9am. Kids under 12 get in free, and the first 100 kids get a free comic book.

Family-Friendly event with live music, arts & crafts, children’s activities, games and contests. Pet Show, Cake & Pie Baking Contest, Frozen T-Shirt Contest, Scarecrow Contest, Car Show, Mini Tractor Pull. Started in 2003.

This is an evening of blues, great food, and art at One Memphis Street. DeSoto Arts Council will have work on display during this time that is related to Hill Country Blues. All proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the Von Theater and the DeSoto Arts Council.
