2024, moves up from Labor Day to late July. Description: A free community event organized by the Utah Arts Alliance. Enjoy hundreds of artists, performers and musicians automotive arts, projection art, virtual reality, street basketball, fashion and more, held at the Gallivan Center.

Snowbird Oktoberfest - Snowbird, UT - Aug 10 to Oct 13, 2024
Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 pm on the designated weekends. The Snowbird Ski Resort (located southeast of Salt Lake City) hosts Utah’s most popular German festival. Over 60,000 attend this annual Utah Oktoberfest which started in 1973. Get a taste of Bavaria with authentic food, live German music and yodelers. Local breweries will also be featured. Arts and crafts from local and regional artists will be offered for sale in Der Marktplatz. A ceremonial one litre beer stein is available for collectors. Last year, it kicked off the celebration with a 3K Lederhosen race on the opening day. There was also a Grand Oktoberfest on Labor Day weekend with procession, ceremonial keg tapping and best costume contest to crown Miss and Mister Oktoberfest. Visitors generally consume some 6,000 pounds of weisswurst and bratwurst, 4,500 pounds of chicken and 2,000 Granny Smith apples are eaten in the delicious apple strudel.

Huntsville Marathon - Huntsville, UT - Sep 21, 2024
Appears to be canceled for 2023 as well. One of the most pristine marathons that Utah has to offer, this course starts in the Monte Cristo area and ends at Huntsville Town Park. A Boston Marathon Qualifier. All marathon runners can catch a free bus from Huntsville Park to the starting line.

FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention - Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 26 to Sep 28, 2024
Around 120,000 attend this event. Set historical records for most people attending a convention in Utah and Guinness Record for most people dressed as comic book characters. With celebrity guest panels, autograph signings, photo ops, gaming competitions, cosplay contests, special events, KidCon, and the film festival, there is something for everyone.

New Harmony Apple Festival - New Harmony, UT - Oct 12, 2024
Activities include music all day, vendors, food, games for the kids, bounce houses, climbing wall, fire safety demonstrations, and lots of apples for sale. This is an annual fundraiser for the 100% volunteer fire department and 100% of the profits go to purchase life saving equipment and supplies.

Nature Hills Harvest Fest - Cedar City, UT - Oct 12 to Oct 14, 2024
