Mississippi Ghost Tours, Walks and Paranormal Investigations
Mississippi ghost tours center upon two sites of historical importance in America. The Natchez Trace has been used by animals, Native Americans and travelers for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. And the Siege of Vicksburg was, along with Gettysburg, one of the turning points of the Civil War.As I find more ghost hunts, ghost walks, haunted house tours, trolley tours, and cemetery tours that you may be interested in taking if you are a thrill seeker, ghost hunter and/or history buff, I’ll definitely add them.
Here are the Mississippi ghost tours that I have found:
Haunted Holly Springs Ghost Walking Tours - Holly Springs, MS
Kudzu Paranormal Investigation Group runs a ghost walk in October as well as occasional events throughout the year. Their haunted ghost tours are family-friendly – though some of the true stories can be scary, there is no blood, guts or jump scares. All of the tours depart from and return to Lost River Mercantile, on the southwest corner of the Holly Springs Square.
As an example of other events: In July 2017, they did a ghost walk of Marshall County Historical Museum, one of the great treasures of Holly Springs and Marshall County.
Haunted Vicksburg - Vicksburg, MS

The Ghostly Driving Tour is available on Monday through Thursday evenings at 8 pm (please arrive 15 minutes early). The 90 minute walking tour explores Old Vicksburg, home of a haunted house that was a way station on the Trail of Tears as well as the largest Civil War cemetery. Walk costs $18-20 per adult and starts at the southwest corner of the Old Court House Museum (near the small circular park outside 1022 Monroe).
