2021 in progress. All times are for Sunday, October 31, 2021 unless otherwise noted. Most places seem to be scheduling trick or treat for the evening of Halloween.

Charleston and the Lowcountry – dusk to 8 or 9 p.m. on Halloween
Florence: Each neighborhood sets the time; the city makes no recommendations
Lake City: Until 8 p.m. on Oct 30 is recommended
Myrtle Beach: times set by neighborhoods for Halloween
Ware Shoals: Trick-or-treating on Halloween with Scare on the Square event on Saturday
