This beautiful and wicked octopus dress is for ladies who have seen the other side of life under the sea. The octopus woman, or sea witch, represents the darker beauty of the ocean. *Dress is made from premium quality spandex swim wear, so the bodice has a very comfortable, sleek stretchy fit, and can be worn in or out of the water. *Yes, these dresses are made for swimming or dry land. Each tentacle has sucker cups hand stamped onto the undersides using permanent waterproof fabric dyes, as well as having breather holes and light weights sewn into each tentacle, so as to properly perform and writhe in the water. *Front of bodice is embellished with a menacing glass octopus eye and fresh water black pearls. *Each tentacle is slippery, smooth, and stretchy: they freely slide and smooth over each other with no sticking or bunching. *supportive 1 inch wide straps hide bra straps. *Tentacles are strategically placed to have more coverage in the back, and still show a little leg in front. I am very pleased with my octopus dress design, i spent a lot of time developing the various aspects of the pattern for the best fit, as well as engineering the breather holes and weights sewn into the tentacles for excellent water performance. I have not seen anything quite like it available, especially for swimming, and so i am wickedly happy to be able to offer this as a comfortable and not so goodie-two-shoes alternative swimming or wearing garment for cosplay events, mermaid themed parties, or even just a very fabulous evening party. I have tagged this octopus dress as a size XL in my clothing line, which is designed to fit the following range: Bust: 44″ to 47″ (inches) waist: 36″-39″ Although, with the amount of stretch that the spandex has, if you were larger or smaller than these measurements by an inch or so, really, it would still work. Hip measurement is not really important, as the tentacles adjust themselves in their spread, providing mostly coverage.
